Petrol to cost Rs 159 per liter from today



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a decrease in the prices of petrol and diesel.

This adjustment follows a reduction in fuel prices from the Indian Oil Corporation.

As a result, the new price for petrol has been reduced by Rs 4 per liter, and the price for diesel and kerosene has dropped by Rs 5 per liter.

Under the new pricing structure, the cost of petrol is Rs 156.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 158 in the second category, and Rs 159 in the third category.

For diesel and kerosene, the prices are Rs 146.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 148 in the second category, and Rs 149 in the third category.

The first category includes locations such as Charali, Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.

The second category encompasses Surkhet and Dang, while the third category includes Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
