Minister Sudi assumes office, commits to serving women, children, and senior citizens



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishor Shah Sudi, assumed office today.

Upon taking charge, Sudi expressed his commitment to advocating for the welfare of women, children, and senior citizens.

He directed employees to maximize the utilization of available resources and perform to the best of their abilities, always prioritizing the nation and its citizens.

“Without the support and cooperation of employees, the goals remain unmet,” he emphasized.

The 76-year-old Sudi, representing the Janata Samajbadi Party in the CPN (UML)-led coalition government, won the latest House of Representatives election from the Saptari constituency number 1 under the first-past-the-post election system.

He was born to Kaushalya Devi and Bhola Prasad Sahu in 2005 BS at Hanumannagar Kankalini-9 in Saptari.
