Simaltal Bus Accident: One more body recovered, 47 passengers still missing



KATHMANDU: Another body, suspected to be that of a passenger from the buses swept into the Trishuli River, has been recovered at Narayani River in Gaindakot Municipality-7 (East Nawalparasi).

According to the District Police Office, Nawalpur, the body of a man was found buried in the sand.

His identity is yet to be determined.

This discovery brings the total number of recovered bodies to 15, while the whereabouts of 47 passengers remain unknown.

The two buses were carrying 65 passengers in total, with three passengers narrowly surviving the incident.
