CPPCC Vice Chair Bater calls on PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Vice Chairman Bater met with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Sunday.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, cooperation, and the implementation of existing agreements and consensus between the two nations.

Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his pleasure with the gradual implementation of various agreements signed between Nepal and China during his recent visit to China, according to the PM’s Foreign Advisor, Dr. Rupak Sapkota. The Prime Minister also thanked the Chinese government for its decision to reopen 14 traditional points along the Nepal-China border and expressed confidence in the continued implementation of other agreements.

Additionally, they discussed expanding parliamentary exchanges between Nepal and China.

CPPCC Vice Chairman Bater reiterated China’s commitment to prioritizing its relationship with Nepal and emphasized that areas of cooperation would be further deepened in the coming days.
