Constitutional Council meeting convenes at 6 pm

KATHMANDU: The Constitutional Council (CC) meeting has been scheduled for 6 pm today.

According to National Assembly Chairman and CC Member Narayan Dahal, the Council meeting is scheduled at Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

Dahal informed that the meeting will discuss the appointment of officials to vacant positions within constitutional bodies.

The meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, will be attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the National Assembly, Chief Justice, leader of main opposition party Nepali Congress, and Deputy Speaker.
