Litterateur and lyricist Prakat Pangeni Shiva passes away



POKHARA: Poet and lyricist Prakat Pangeni Shiva passed away on Tuesday.

According to his family sources, Shiva died while undergoing treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital.

He was admitted to the hospital after experiencing serious health problems due to pneumonia.

Shiva is known for his published collections of poems and ghazals, as well as popular songs like “Tagaro Chheu Aayera Pani Aangani Tekinau.”

His cremation will take place on Wednesday afternoon, as informed by the family source.
