KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that western and local winds are currently influencing Nepal’s weather conditions.

Currently, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, including the Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

This afternoon, it is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in some areas of the hilly regions.

There is a potential for storms in certain areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as scattered areas in other provinces.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur in some high hill and Himalayan regions.

Tonight, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, as well as light rain with lightning in some parts of the hilly areas in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Light snowfall may occur in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, it said.
