KATHMANDU: Minister for Youth and Sports, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, has announced plans to convert the old Ministers’ Quarter in Pulchowk into a residence for athletes.

Minister Shrestha revealed his initiative during the inauguration of the RBB Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Championship on Saturday.

He stated that work has been initiated to convert the Ministers’ Quarter into a residence for athletes.

Minister Shrestha expressed his commitment to move forward with the same proposal.

Furthermore, he revealed plans to take action against coaches involved in human trafficking.

However, Minister Shrestha did not disclose which sports’ coaches were engaged in such activities.
