Nepali Congress holding CWC meeting even today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee meeting, which commenced on Thursday, is set to continue today as well.

The discussions have centered around three proposals presented on the initial day, with party Spokesperson Min Bishwakarma, confirming that these proposals will be further deliberated upon during Friday’s session.

Additionally, the Nepali Congress has planned to present a comprehensive 56-page policy proposal in the upcoming Mahasamiti meeting to be held from February 19 in Godavari of Lalitpur.

This proposal, crafted by Deputy President Purna Bahadur Khadka, addresses a spectrum of issues encompassing economics, social concerns, religion, culture, and politics.

NC General Secretary Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma are also slated to contribute to the discussion with their respective proposals.

General Secretary Thapa is slated to present a detailed report on the organization, while Sharma will focus on the prevailing political landscape.
