Rabi Lamichhane to be brought to Pokhara today

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), is being returned to Pokhara today after spending time in the custody of the Rupandehi Police in connection with the Supreme Cooperative fraud case in Butwal.

District Police Office spokesperson DSP Laxmi Khanal reported that although the flight from Bhairahawa Airport is scheduled for 7:40 AM, poor weather conditions have caused delays.

“He will depart for Pokhara as soon as the weather improves,” said DSP Khanal.

Lamichhane was initially prepared to return yesterday, but his departure was postponed as his statement continued into the evening.
