NEPSE index dips 50.73 points to close at 2,637.79



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index on Sunday fell by 50.73 points, or 1.88 percent, closing at 2,637.79.

This drop reversed the previous session’s gain of 78.17 points.

Today’s trading began with the index at 2,698.52 points, reached a high of 2,734.58 points, and dropped to a low of 2,630.11 points before settling at 2,637.79 points by the end of the session.

During the trading day, 324 companies were active across 119,739 transactions, with a total turnover of Rs. 10.34 billionand 24,846,782 shares changing hands.

The market capitalization was Rs. 4.19 trillion, and the float market capitalization was Rs. 1.47 trillion.
