KATHMANDU: A wave of supporters and admirers flooded the premises of the Patan High Court following the court’s decision to grant cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane a clean chit in a rape case on Wednesday.

After two days of hearings, the Patan High Court overturned the previous verdict issued by the Kathmandu District Court, providing Lamichhane with an acquittal in the rape case.
