Maoist Center finalizes party statute



KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-Maoist Center has finalized the party statute, including necessary amendments.

According to party Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota, the standing committee meeting held at the party’s central office in Parisdanda on Friday completed the statute amendment process.

The Maoist Center organized the first statute conference in the capital on February 13 to discuss the draft of the statute.

Sapkota informed that the standing committee accepted the resignation of Narayan Dahal.

Dahal tendered his resignation from the party after being elected to the National Assembly Chairman post.
