House of Representatives meeting postponed due to NC obstruction

KATHMANDU: The session of the House of Representatives has been postponed due to obstruction by the main opposition party, Nepali Congress.

NC has demanded the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

In the meeting held on Friday, NC lawmakers stated that Home Minister Lamichhane, who has been implicated in the cooperative fraud case, should resign on moral grounds.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire postponed the meeting for 15 minutes after NC obstruction.
