KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is convening its Central Committee (CC) meeting today, with expectations of spanning two days to accommodate the endorsement of four crucial reports.

According to Min Biswakarma, the party’s spokesperson, there’s a likelihood of the meeting extending until Thursday and Friday.

The faction led by the party’s President will introduce an economic proposal, slated for thorough deliberation during the session.

Additionally, a regulatory proposal, crafted by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, covering various aspects including economic, social, religious, cultural, and political issues, will be presented in the Maha Samiti meeting and subsequently endorsed by the Central Committee.

Furthermore, General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Biswa Prakash Sharma are scheduled to deliver their respective reports during the meeting.

The proceedings are set to commence at 1 pm local time at the party headquarters in Sanepa.

The Nepali Congress has made arrangements for its mahasamiti meeting, scheduled to take place from Falgun 7 to 10, at Godawari in Lalitpur.
