Unified Socialist’s Secretariat meeting underway in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling CPN-Unified Socialist Party is currently in session at the party’s central office in Alok Nagar, Kathmandu.

As per the party’s spokesperson, Jagannath Khatiwada, the Secretariat meeting is addressing various issues, including the upcoming National Assembly elections and other contemporary matters.

In the ruling coalition’s allocation for the National Assembly elections, two seats have been designated for the Unified Socialist Party out of the 19 seats available.

The elections are slated to take place on January 25.
