Chief of Army Staff Sigdel reviews Indian Military Academy cadet parade



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel, currently on an official visit to India, inspected the final parade of officer cadets at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun today.

During the event, CoAS Sigdel presented insignias to the newly commissioned officers and engaged in interactions with them, according to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepal Army.

The Nepal Army has been sending its officer cadets to train at the IMA since 2010 B.S.

To date, over 200 Nepali officer cadets have graduated from the prestigious academy.

The IMA, which currently trains officer cadets from 12 countries, has six Nepali officer cadets undergoing training at present.
