Gold price down by Rs 2,200 per tola today



KATHMANDU: Gold prices have dropped significantly today (Thursday).

Gold prices have been on a steady decline for the past five days. The price of gold fell by Rs. 2,200 per tola today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, the price of gold stands at Rs. 160,000 per tola today. Yesterday, the price was Rs. 162,200 per tola.

On October 31, gold prices reached an all-time high, with the price hitting Rs. 171,000 per tola.

Since then, the price has been gradually decreasing. Over the past two weeks, the price of gold has fallen by Rs. 11,000 per tola.

The Federation also reported a decline in silver prices today.

The price of silver, which was trading at Rs. 1,940 per tola yesterday, has dropped by Rs. 35 to Rs. 1,995 per tola today.
