KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan University (TU) senate scheduled to be held on Monday has been postponed.

Bhim Prasad Shrestha, Head of the TU Information and Public Relations Division, informed that the meeting was postponed due to the political situation.

There is a problem in holding the senate as Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ failed to receive a vote of confidence in the parliament and was automatically relieved of his post and a new prime minister is yet to be appointed.

Prime Minister is the Chancellor of the University.
