Public holiday on June 17



KATHMANDU: The government has announced a public holiday on June 17.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Home Affairs informed that the government has granted a public holiday on Monday, June 17, to celebrate Bakrid (Eid al-Adha).

Eid al-Adha, commonly known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the two major Islamic holidays, alongside Eid al-Fitr.
