KATHMANDU: Dipendra Singh Airee has etched his name in the annals of Nepali cricket history by becoming the first player from the nation to achieve the remarkable feat of hitting six sixes in an over in a T20 International match.

This historic moment unfolded during a gripping encounter against Qatar in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2024 at the Al-Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman on Saturday.

Airee’s blazing innings, which saw him smash 64 runs off just 21 balls while remaining unbeaten, played a pivotal role in Nepal’s victory by 32 runs.

His remarkable performance rightfully earned him the Player of the Match title, further cementing his status as a rising star in Nepali cricket.
