KATHMANDU: The statute convention of the Maoist Center will continue even today, featuring presentations from 20 different groups.

The convention, kickstarted by party Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the Nepal Academy, Kamaladi in Kathmandu, has gathered momentum.

Today, each of the 20 groups will present their perspectives on the proposed statute following deliberations held on Tuesday.

Party leader Dev Gurung stated that the proposed statute will be unveiled during today’s proceedings, with Chairman Prachanda imposing a stringent deadline for each group to discuss and present their conclusions by 1 pm.

The Maoists anticipate that the finalization of the statute will be a collaborative effort, drawing on the insights and suggestions provided by all 20 participating groups throughout the session, which is scheduled to extend until tomorrow.
