NPL: Karnali Yaks edge out Lumbini Lions by 5 runs



KATHMANDU: Karnali Yaks narrowly defeated Lumbini Lions by 5 runs in an exciting match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur sports ground.

The win significantly boosted Karnali’s chances of advancing to the playoffs.

Chasing a target of 129 runs set by Karnali, Lumbini could only manage 123 runs, losing 7 wickets in their 20 overs.

With this victory, Karnali Yaks are now considered one of the strongest teams in the competition, alongside Janakpur, as they continue their push for a playoff spot.
