Gold price down by Rs 1,200 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which had risen by 4,500 rupees in just three days, has fallen by 1,200 rupees per tola today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the current price of gold is 153,000 rupees per tola. Silver has also seen a decrease in price today.

Over the past week, gold prices have experienced significant fluctuations. After increasing by 400 rupees per tola last Monday, 2,100 rupees on Tuesday, and 2,000 rupees on Wednesday, the price remained stable on Thursday.

However, today it has dropped by 1,200 rupees, down from yesterday’s price of 154,200 rupees per tola.

Silver prices have also decreased, dropping by 65 rupees to 1,860 rupees per tola today, compared to 1,925 rupees per tola yesterday.

After remaining stable for the past three days, silver prices have also seen a decline today.

Last week, the price of gold had fallen dramatically, losing 18,500 rupees per tola in just two days.
