Kathmandu temperature drops to 3.1°C



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley, which has been the coldest so far this year, dropped further this morning (Friday).

At 5:45 am, the temperature in Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 3.4 degrees Celsius, and it dropped further to 3.1 degrees Celsius by 8:45 am.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division’s records, this is the lowest temperature recorded in Kathmandu this year.

Today, the lowest temperature recorded is minus 7 degrees Celsius (-7°C) in Jumla.
