KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon air is currently affecting the country with the monsoon low-pressure line situated around its normal position.
According to the Division, the country is experiencing a general shift in weather patterns.
Some areas in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as a few locations in the remaining provinces, are receiving light to moderate rain.
This afternoon, the weather will be generally cloudy across the country.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and a few places in the remaining provinces.
Additionally, heavy rain is expected in one or two locations within Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces.
Tonight, the weather is anticipated to be generally cloudy throughout the country.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as a few locations in the remaining provinces.
