Rohit Chand Signs third consecutive season with Indonesian Club Persik

KATHMANDU: Rohit Chand will play his third consecutive season with Indonesian club Persik Kediri.

The top-division Indonesian football club has extended its contract with Rohit for the third season.

Over the past two seasons, Rohit has played 56 matches and scored three goals for Persik.

The upcoming Indonesian Liga 1 season is set to start in the second week of August.

Before joining Persik, Rohit was associated with another Indonesian club, Persija Jakarta, from 2013, where he played 149 matches and scored 13 goals.

From 2010 to 2012, Rohit played for India’s I-League club HAL.

In 2012, he joined the Indonesian club Pekanbaru.

Rohit made his debut for the Nepal national team in 2009 and has since played 92 matches.
