Govt set to appoint Pradeep Yadav as Health Minister and Nawal Kishwor Sah as Forest Minister from JSP

State Minister role pending for Hasina or Ranju

KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to welcome Pradeep Yadav and Nawal Kishwor Sah as new ministers from the Janata Samajwadi Party, led by Ashok Rai.

Yadav is expected to assume the role of Health Minister, while Sah is set to be reinstated as the Minister for Forest and Environment.

Additionally, either Hasina Khatun or Ranju Jha, both lawmakers, is poised to be appointed as a State Minister from the party.

Following the split of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Sah exited the Upendra Yadav-led faction and joined Ashok Rai’s camp.

Meanwhile, Yadav-led JSP Nepal has withdrawn from Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s government and Yadav himself has resigned from his position as the Minister for Health and Population.
