JSP submits names of two ministers and one state minister to PM

KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party, led by Ashok Rai, has forwarded names of two ministers and one state minister to join the government.

Sources claimed that JSP Secretary Pradeep Yadav and Ranju Jha have been proposed as ministers and lawmaker Hasina Khan for the role of Minister of State.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda confirmed that Yadav will be entrusted with the responsibilities of Minister of Health and Population.

However, Jha’s specific ministry allocation is yet to be finalized.

“Although the exact ministry is under discussion, it might take a couple of days. There have been discussions about vacating a ministry and assigning it to him,” he stated.

The vacancy in the ministry arose after Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav tendered his resignation on Monday.
