Light rain likely in Bagmati, Koshi, and Gandaki provinces



KATHMANDU: A low-pressure system originating from Bihar, India, is currently impacting weather conditions in Nepal.

As a result, the country will witness a partial to normal state across the hilly regions, including the Sudurpaschim Province, as reported by the Weather Forecast Division.

Additionally, other parts of the nation will experience a partial shift in weather patterns.

Light rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gales is observed in select areas of Gandaki Province, as well as in portions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

During this afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy prevailing nationwide.

There’s a likelihood of light to moderate rainfall with thunder, lightning, and gales in some hilly regions and a few spots in the southern plains.

Furthermore, there will be a light snowfall in high hilly and Himalayan areas later in the day.

Tonight, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy over the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.

Elsewhere, skies are forecasted to be mostly clear with partly cloudy intervals.
