Upendra Yadav calls Central Committee meeting today

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has called a crucial meeting of the party’s Central Committee.

Purna Basnet, Head of the Publicity Department, stated that a central committee meeting has been summoned to deliberate on the party’s decision to quit the Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda-led government, and to seek legal remedy regarding Ashok Rai’s move to split the party.

While a meeting of the central executive committee of JSP Nepal took place on Sunday, discussions revolved around the potential departure from the government.

However, the final decision rests with the Central Committee.

Amidst the withdrawal of support from the CPN-UML and the Maoist center, particularly in the Madhes province, JSP Nepal is gearing up to exit the federal government.
