KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has emphasized the need to shift focus towards prosperity and economic development through the lens of good governance.

In his message extending best wishes on the occasion of New Year 2081BS today, President Deuba conveyed his hopes for peace, prosperity, and happiness to all Nepalis.

He underscored the importance of renewed political commitment and accountability to propel the nation forward.

President Deuba advocated for political and national unity, emphasizing the necessity for parties to transcend their individual interests.
