President Poudel relieves three province chiefs of their duties



KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel has dismissed the Province Chiefs of three provinces from their positions.

According to a statement issued today by the Office of the President, President Paudel relieved Harishankar Mishra, Chief of Madhes Province; Prithviman Gurung, Chief of Gandaki Province; and Devraj Joshi, Chief of Sudurpaschim Province from their posts.

The decision was made in accordance with Article 165 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal and based on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on March 11.
