SUNSARI: The police have apprehended for possession of approximately 406.94 kg of illegal marijuana in Barahakshetra-9, Rajabas, Sunsari.
The arrested individuals are Surya Rai, 25, from Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-4, and Laxman Rai, 27, from Hatuwa Gadhi Rural Municipality-8, Bhojpur.
The police, conducting an investigation, detained the suspects during a vehicle check near the crematorium in Rajabas.
Upon intercepting the Bolero with the registration number Province-01-02-001 Ja 4050 and inspecting it, the police discovered 13 sacks of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver, Surya, and the passenger, Laxman, were subsequently arrested.
