 Nepal sets a massive target of 228 runs for Maldives

KATHMANDU: In the final match of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup, Nepal has set a substantial target of 228 runs for Maldives.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Nepal lost 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs but managed to score 227 runs.

For Nepal, Rubina Chhetry played an outstanding innings, scoring a splendid century of 118 runs off 59 balls, setting the highest target for Maldives so far.

In her pursuit of a high score, Rubina hit 10 fours and 5 sixes in her inning.

Similarly, Pooja Mahato remained unbeaten with 59 runs, hitting 5 fours and 1 six in 36 balls.

Kavita Kunwar contributed 13 runs, while Sita Rana Magar added 15 runs to the total.
