Durga Prasai’s campaign holding demonstration in Kathmandu today

KATHMANDU: A demonstration is taking place today in Kathmandu, organized by the campaign led by medical entrepreneur, Durga Prasai.

Prasai, engaged in diverse initiatives, is slated to lead the event at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

The demonstration, reportedly garnering ‘moral support’ from royalists and Hindus, has received expressions of encouragement from entities such as Rastriya Prajatantra Party and RPP-Nepal.

Despite earlier indications that former king Gyanendra Shah would be present at the program, Prasai informed that Shah is currently in Chitwan for a seven-day visit, and therefore, unable to attend.
