President Paudel to offer Dashain tika to general public today

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel is offering tika and jamara to the general public at Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas, in celebration of Bijaya Dashami today.

According to the President’s Office, the event is scheduled for Saturday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., allowing interested members of the public to participate.

Prior to this, President Paudel will offer tika to distinguished guests from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.

In a family tradition, 94-year-old brother Dundiraj Paudel will offer Bijaya Dashami tika on President Paudel, who will also receive tika, prasad, jamara, and blessings from his brother.

Furthermore, President Paudel will receive tika and jamara from his Guru Priest at the auspicious time of 11:36 a.m. on Saturday morning at the President’s Office.
