Rabi challenges new alliance to prove him guilty in fraud case

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has challenged his accusers to prove him guilty in a fraud case and imprison him.

Speaking at the parliamentary meeting on Friday, Home Minister Lamichhane specifically challenged the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML to substantiate their accusations against him in the cooperative fraud case and to take legal action if proven guilty.

During his address, Lamichhane highlighted the achievements of his tenure as Home Minister, noting that the government had made significant strides in maintaining good governance and controlling corruption.

He also described the new alliance between the Nepali Congress and UML as a move driven by fear of the government’s good governance initiatives.

Furthermore, Lamichhane called on the new government to continue the good governance campaign that the current administration has started.
