PM Dahal expresses sorrow over huge loss of lives, property



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended sorrow over huge loss of lives and property at different places of the country due to landslide and flood.

Speaking during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), Prime Minister Dahal mentioned he was saddened by the news of missing of around 60 passengers when landslide swept away two passenger buses at Simtal of Narayangadh-Muglin road section early this morning.

PM Dahal said he has already directed all bodies of the government including the Home Administration to carry out search operation for the missing passengers and their effective rescue.

The Prime Minister urged the federal, provincial and local governments for collaboration and cooperation to make preparedness related to disaster management and risk reduction systematic as well as for rescue and relief for monsoon is active across the country.
