Couple killed in Myagdi landslide



MYAGDI: A couple died this morning after their house collapsed in a landslide at Takam village of Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-7 in Myagdi district.

Assistant Police Inspector of Takam Police Post Ramesh Prasad Adhikari said that Tul Prasad Neupane and his spouse Bal Kumari Neupane were buried under the debris caused by the continuous rain.

Additionally, three more individuals lost their lives in separate landslide incidents: two in Pokhara-32 Chainpur and one in Madi-11.

Meanwhile, in Chainpur Bahrabise of Pokhara-32, a young girl, Anita Ojha, aged 18, lost her life when a landslide buried her house.
