KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Nepal in India and PHDCCI India-Nepal Centre organized an Industry Outreach Meet in New Delhi on April 11, 2024, ahead of the Nepal Investment Summit 2024.

The event aimed to attract Indian industry leaders and decision-makers by showcasing the promising investment opportunities in Nepal.

Ambassador Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal’s Ambassador to India, and Sushil Bhatta, CEO of Investment Board Nepal, delivered detailed presentations about investment prospects in Nepal.

The event saw strong interest from leading industry figures and government officials, indicating enthusiasm for Nepal as an appealing investment destination for Indian businesses.

Key highlights of the Nepal Investment Summit 2024 include opportunities to connect with key decision-makers, discover diverse investment prospects in sectors such as hydropower, tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing, witness Nepal’s transformation through policy reforms and infrastructural advancements, and secure synergetic partnerships with public agencies, foreign investors, and local businesses.

Ambassador Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma emphasized Nepal’s potential as an attractive destination for Indian businesses and the government’s commitment to streamlining business procedures and offering support.
