KATHMANDU: Partial effects of western and local winds are witnessed in Nepal, causing partly cloudy conditions across the hilly areas of the country, including the Koshi Province.
The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country this afternoon, with similar conditions elsewhere in the country.
In the afternoon, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in select hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
The Division has also predicted light snowfall in some high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country during the afternoon.
Furthermore, tonight may bring light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places within the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
According to the Division, there is also potential for light snowfall in a few high hilly and Himalayan areas within the Koshi and Gandaki provinces during the night.
