Nagarik Unmukti issues whip to vote in favor of Prime Minister Dahal

KATHMANDU: The Nagarik Unmukti Party has declared its support for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ by casting votes in favor of the vote of confidence.

Ranjita Shrestha, the chairperson of the party, directed party lawmakers to cast their votes in favor of Prime Minister Dahal on Tuesday.

She instructed all four party members to be present and vote in favor of the motion.

Following the reconfiguration of power dynamics, the Nepali Congress withdrew its support for Prime Minister Dahal.

Prime Minister Dahal is set to seek a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives on March 13.
