Janamat Party withholds vote of confidence for PM Dahal, decides to file candidacy for Ilam and Bajhang



KATHMANDU: The Janamat Party has made the decision not to grant a vote of confidence to the government.

After a meeting held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the party spokesperson, Dr. Sharad Singh Yadav, revealed that the Janamat Party chose to abstain from supporting the vote of confidence proposed by Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’

Furthermore, the party has declared its intention to field one candidate each in the Ilam constituency of the House of Representatives and the Bajhang Provincial Assembly election.
