Loktantrik Samajbadi to oppose PM Dahal in confidence vote, support NC candidate for NA Chair

KATHMANDU: Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has announced its decision to vote against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the upcoming confidence vote scheduled for Wednesday.

The decision was made during a recent parliamentary party meeting where the party resolved to play the role of the opposition in the parliament.

Furthermore, the party has also declared its support for the Nepali Congress candidate, Yubraj Sharma, in the election for the National Assembly chairman.

Nepali Congress has nominated Yubraj Sharma for the position of National Assembly Chair.

With one lawmaker in the National Assembly and four in the House of Representatives (HoR), the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party’s stance carries significant weight in the upcoming parliamentary proceedings.
