Maoist Center’s Central Committee meeting to continue even today

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the Maoist Center to continue today in Kathmandu is reportedly expected to address the outcomes of the four-month Maoist transformation campaign.

The meeting, which commenced on Sunday at the Rastriya Sabhagriha, Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, will focus on reviewing the recently concluded campaign, party leaders said.

Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is scheduled to provide insights and responses during today’s discussions.

This Central Committee meeting precedes the upcoming legislative statute convention scheduled from February 13 to 15.

Sunday’s meeting was initiated following the approval of the proposal to form a 151-member Central Committee by the Standing Committee, with plans to present it at the statute convention.

During yesterday’s session, leaders presented comprehensive review reports on the Maoist special transformation campaign to the public.
