Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister calls for prompt construction of flyover

KATHMANDU: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Devendra Dahal, made an onsite inspection of the under-construction flyover at Gwarko of Lalitpur today.

The Minister was accompanied by high officials of the Ministry, including Secretary Keshav Kumar Sharma and Director General of the Department of Roads Ramhari Pokharel, among others.

On the occasion, Minister Dahal issued instructions to the bodies concerned to expedite the flyover construction works, saying any delays in the construction of infrastructure and development projects would not be tolerated.

He directed for speeding up the flyover construction works and completing the structure on time. The flyover is expected to play crucial role in easing the urban traffic in Kathmandu.

The construction of the flyover started on February 24, 2022 and the deadline for its completion is within the third week of December.

Asish-Samanantar-Religer JV Kathmandu is building the 30-metre-span flyover of four lanes, along with bridge.
