KATHMANDU: The resignation of Dr. Gunraj Lohani, Chair of the Health Insurance Board, has been accepted. The Cabinet approved Lohani’s resignation in its meeting on Sunday, following his decision to step down due to health reasons.

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung shared this decision while announcing the decisions of the Cabinet meeting.

Dr. Lohani had been appointed to the position in Mangsir last year under the administration led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and had submitted his resignation in Bhadra.
