KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that Nepal-India bilateral ties are strong in many dimensions, including geographical, cultural, social and educational.
Speaking at the ‘India-Nepal Friendship Summit 2024: Globalization and Socio-Economic Development’ programme held today at the Kathmandu Model College here in Bagbazar, Minister Gurung said that if the educational relationship between Nepal and India is strengthened, the knowledge between the two countries will be further strengthened.
He opined that the summit will create an intellectual and educational environment and help in building educational leadership in bilateral spheres.
On the occasion, Minister Gurung gave awards to outstanding personalities in various educational fields as an encouragement.
The summit was completed as a major project of Global Leaders Foundation and a co-organization of Kathmandu Model College.
Ramesh Tripathi, president of the foundation, said that the summit was organized for intellectual exchange in the area of education.
