NEPSE index slides further with 22.73-point drop



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index maintained its downward trend, decreasing by 22.73 points (0.86%) to end the day at 2,610.21.

This drop follows a previous session’s decline of 13.09 points.

The trading day began with the index at 2,636.30 points, peaked at 2,651.19 points, and then fell to a low of 2,601.91 points before closing at 2,610.21 points.

During the session, 317 companies were involved in 87,036 transactions, generating a total turnover of Rs. 6.85 billion.

The volume of shares traded amounted to 15,428,724.
